Gatewood PTA

Gatewood is lucky to have an active, vibrant Gatewood Elementary PTA that supports our school in many ways. The PTA provides learning opportunities such as Passport Club, After School Clubs (ASC), field trips, and the Science Fair. The PTA also provides funds to support our teachers, allowing our school to have more teaching staff, including our librarian, teachers’ aides, and more.

As members of the Gatewood community of learners, the mission of the Gatewood Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is to work together with the Gatewood staff to support the ongoing process of helping our children become Independent Learners. By providing a volunteer presence at the school, participating in the decision making process, and providing additional financial resources, we are partners with the staff in their endeavor to teach our children cooperative learning, technology, critical thinking, multiple intelligences, science, reading, writing, and arithmetic.
