    Update your Email Address with SPS before February 3!

    Important information for parents and guardians with a Source account created prior to August 2017:

    Source accounts parents and guardians set up prior to August of 2017 with ausername that does NOT match the email address on their student’s school record will be DISABLED Saturday, February 3, 2018.  These accounts display an alert.  If you are a parent or guardian with a Source account that is not an email address or have been using an email address that is not on your student's school record, please contact each student’s school to updated your email address. The email address on record at the school(s) will be your Source username. After the school updates your email address, please allow 2 hours for this change to sync with the Source.  Clear the cache on your browser, close your browser, reopen and click the Set up button on the Source log in screen to enter your email address and password.  

    What is the Source?

    The Source provides student data like attendance, assessment scores, library information, classes, etc. to parents and guardians. Note: Secondary student assignment grades are available in the Source, though elementary student grades are not, at this time.

    Who can get a Source account?

    • Parents and guardians of students actively enrolled in SPS may set up an account.
    • Students actively enrolled in SPS will receive an account at school and will log onto the Source with their student account.  If your student did not receive their student account, please have them see their school librarian or teacher.

    What do parents and guardians need to set up a Source account:

    • You must be the parent or guardian of a student actively enrolled in SPS.
    • Have the same valid email address on record at each student's school.  Your email address will be your Source username.
    • Visit the account Set up page.

    If you don't have an email address:

    There are many ways to get a free email addresses.  Google's Gmail is free and has a translation feature.  Please visit the Create your Google Account website if you would like a  Gmail account.  To translate the Google Gmail page, scroll to the bottom of the page.  Look to the right and click the drop down to select your language.

    Is a student missing from your account?

    If you have a Source account, but a student is missing from it or you get the alert, please contact the school to update your email address.  The 2 hours after the email address is updated and matches your Source username, the student will appear on your account.
