On February 6, Seattle Public Schools is launching text messaging. Future messages from our district will be translated, however the first text message you
will receive will be in English.

If we have a cellular phone number for you on file and you have not already opted-in, you will receive the following text in English from 67587 requesting you to opt-in to receive important informational text messages from Seattle Public Schools:

"Seattle Public Schools messages. Reply Y to confirm, HELP for information. Msg and data rates may apply. Msg freq varies."

When you receive this text message, please reply with the letter “Y” to confirm your number will receive text messages from Seattle Public Schools.

Please note, although the district does not charge you for this service, it does not pay for text message charges that may be incurred by you for sending or receiving text messages. Check with your cellular phone provider for possible charges.

If you have any questions, please email or call 206-252-0200. Visit the SPS District Messaging page for Frequently Asked Questions.
