Gatewood PTA
Our mission is to support the Gatewood students, teachers, staff and community through various fundraisers and community building events. We are helping to create a community of lifelong learners.
Meetings
PTA general meetings are held 3-4 times per year (usually September, December and May) in the Gatewood Library at 6:30 pm, unless otherwise noted on the school calendar. PTA board meetings are held monthly. You do not need to be a PTA member to attend, everyone is welcome! Anyone interested in being on the agenda should contact the PTA President, Natasha Hissong.

To Join
Membership fees are $10 per person. Your membership fee supports our Gatewood programs and also helps the Washington State PTSA and the National PTA to advocate on behalf of our children for a better educational environment.

Gatewood PTA Programs
The Gatewood PTA organizes a number of fundraisers throughout the year to supplement the needs of the community: "Bids for Kids" Auction, Direct donation, Corporate Matching, Safeway eScrip program, and more.

The Gatewood PTA also supports various community events: Family Fun Fair, Multi-Cultural events, school clean up (Operation Imagination), staff appreciation, and Family Movie Night events. If you see an event that you would like to help with, please contact the event chair person.
